Understanding Referrals Campaigns

A Referral Campaign allows you to reward both the referrers (existing members) and the referees (new members) for participating in your referral program.

Referral campaigns are effective tools for driving customer engagement and growth by encouraging your current customers to refer new members to your business. By setting up a referral campaign, you can leverage word-of-mouth marketing to expand your customer base while rewarding loyal customers.

Navigate to Your Referrals Campaigns!

You can navigate to the "Referrals" section in two ways: either by selecting "Referrals" from the left-hand menu of the DejavooExtra Merchant Portal or by accessing it through ‘‘New Campaign Creation‘‘ under the "Campaigns" section. Both options allow you to manage and set up referral campaigns seamlessly.

Components of a Referral Campaign

Referral campaigns have the following fields, as explained below:

  1. Set Referrer Rewards: This feature allows you to reward your existing members who refer others to your business. By offering points for successful referrals, you can significantly increase customer participation and grow your customer base. When setting up a reward for referrers, the campaign title will automatically be set as ‘‘Customer Referral Campaign.’’

  2. Set Referee Rewards: This feature is designed to welcome new members referred to your business. By rewarding points when they join your loyalty program, you create a strong initial connection while encouraging long-term engagement and customer loyalty. When setting up a reward for referees, the campaign title will automatically be set as ‘‘Friend Referral Campaign’’

  3. Earning Type: Defines the points that both the referrer and referee will earn. You can specify the number of points the referrer will earn for referring others and the points the referee will earn for accepting the referral, tailoring the rewards to your campaign’s goals.

  4. Turn On/Turn Off Button: After setting up the campaign, you can easily activate it by clicking the "Turn On" button. You can also deactivate the campaign at any time by selecting the "Turn Off" button, providing flexibility in managing your campaigns.

  5. View Reward Button: Each referral campaign includes a “View Reward” button, allowing you to review the reward amount for both customer and friend referral campaigns. This provides an overview of the incentives offered for referrals.

  6. Delete Button: If you want to permanently remove a referral campaign, you can do so by clicking the ‘‘Delete’’ button next to the respective campaign.

Setting Rewards for Your Referrals

In the DejavooExtra Merchant Portal, setting up rewards for your referrals is simple. Follow these steps to configure both Referrer and Referee rewards, encouraging customer participation and helping grow your business by expanding your member base.

  1. Set Rewards for Referrers and Referees: Click "Add Reward" next to both the ‘‘Set Referrer Rewards’’ and ‘‘Set Referee Rewards’’ sections to define the points earned. The referrer will receive points for bringing in new customers, while the referee (new member) will earn points for joining through the referral.

  2. Campaign Details: Define the fixed points in the ‘‘Earning Type’’ section, specifying the number of points awarded to the referrer and referee.

  3. Save the Campaign: Once all details are configured, click "Save" to complete the setup.

  4. Activate the Campaign: After saving, click the "Turn On" button in the top-right corner to activate your referral campaign.

How Your Referral Campaigns Will Be Named ?

Once you set your reward for referrers, it will automatically be defined as ‘‘Customer Referral Campaign. Similarly, rewards for referees will be defined as ‘‘Friend Referral Campaign.’’

Note!

Once you turn on your referral campaign(s), you can view it in your ‘‘Campaign List’’ page inside the "Manage Existing Campaigns" section with an "Active" status where you can track and manage all your campaigns effortlessly.

How Your Members Access and Share Your Referral Campaign

Once you created your referral campaign, your members can easily view the campaign details, including the referral link and referral code, in their ‘‘DejavooExtra Member Portal’’ where they can seamlessly invite new customers, helping you to expand your member base!

You can also opt to announce your referral campaign to all your members through an email campaign under the Marketing section, ensuring a greater visibility and engagement from your members!
